Amy is an accomplished executive with 16+ years of marketing and advertising experience. She honed her strategic and account management skills while working on Fortune 500’s including ARAMARK and SunGard Data Systems, as well as notable regional clients like Temple University, Pennsylvania Lottery, Giant Foods, Cooper Hospital and Commerce Bank (now TD Bank). Her recent work in real estate development for luxury residences in New York, Philadelphia, Connecticut and San Antonio has won various awards. She has also been instrumental in creating successful pharmaceutical campaigns for Abbott, Novartis and Santarus, positioning new financial start-ups, and helping non-profits to get noticed. Heck, she’s even helped other agencies to actively promote themselves (not that anyone knew).
Amy’s natural ability to foster strong relationships has everything to do with her people-centric attitude and her passion for excellence. She’s also a rare account management type who can balance disciplined business strategy with a fearless pursuit of creative solutions that grow the client’s business.
Given Amy’s fiercely independent nature it’s not surprising that after 10 years of working for notable Philadelphia area agencies, like Tierney Communications and Gillespie, she journeyed out to start a company of her own. After a few years as part-owner of another Philadelphia agency, Amy’s desire to combine forces with her husband, Greg, led to the formation of Idea Hut.
When not focusing on client business, Amy enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and Shadow, the family dog. You may also find her snowboarding or playing a good game of tennis. And, no matter the day, she’s usually planning her next vacation, whether a weekend trip or a journey to visit another country.
